What's the skinny on Taxol?
I have just finished my 4 treatments of A/C and wonder what the medical profession hasn't told me..again. My onco has me set up to take Decadron/Zantac the nite before and the morning of each chemo treatment. If it is going to be this bad, what hasn't he told me?

My first infusion was tues. feb 17th. AC with a neulasta shot the day after, emend caps 2 days after and steroids for three days--everything was finished--med wise--on Fri. I felt ok, not good, but ok. I totally fell apart over the weekend. Weepy, achy, tired both Sat and Sun. I was ready to swear off any more chemo. Today…

Reglan (Metoclopram) for nausea
Has anyone been prescribed Reglan to combat nausea or digestive problems while taking chemo? The medication did calm my nausea, and I was told…

Guess what I did yesterday???
I saw Lance Armstrong! I was actually about 4' from him...for about a nano-second, anyway! There is an 800 mile bike race in California, which is called the Amgen Tour, and it is aligned with Cancer fundraising organizations. It is much like the famous Tour de France ( or is that Tour de Lance?) and part of the race goes…
