On top of this news she also had a heart attack in Feb 2024 and has been struggling to recover. She is weak and with this treatment I know she will…

A Wake-Up Call
Let me share something personal that happened in my family recently. I wanted to share this because it might help someone else out there. A few months ago, my cousin Mike, who is in his early 50s, started experiencing a lingering cough and shortness of breath. At first, he chalked it up to allergies or maybe a mild…

Encephalitis from cancer or meds?
I've just joined here. My husband has non-small cell lung cancer, diagnosed a year ago last month and staged at IV even though it's not metastasized. The targeted med he was on and/or the cancer itself have caused him a very rare auto-immune encephalitis called Bickerstaff brain stem encephalitis. They beat it last month…

Survivors where are you
I want to know how long everyone is surviving. I was formally diagnosed at 37, luckily with stage 1a. I had no symptoms and they found my cancer by mistake. I am now in remission for one year and I'm having these thoughts of how long will I live after this? I know there's no guarantee. But I'm curious of how long people…

Anxiety?
How do you deal with the anxiety? I am feeling so out of control. I am normally able to face critical issues and deal with it, including my own past medical issues, my husband's critical health issues, and even unexpected deaths in my immediate family. But this time, I am a wreck… I shake constantly. I get angry at the…
