Anyone have any good (easy) appetizer recipies?
I am not known for my great cooking skills. Last appetizer I made was little smokies in BBQ sauce. Something that possibly doesn't need to be warmed, maybe. Thanksgiving at my daughter-in-law's mom's house. And she's a dynamite cook. Thanks,Cindy

New nipple update
Just an update. Had my nipple (left breast) done the same day as my exchange surgery. My plastic surgeon told me husband to warn me that the nip would be bigger at first (because it was swolen). Needless to say, I was a little afraid to take a look. It really wasn't that bad and is actually looking kind of good 11 days…

Having catheter put in this week
Hi everyone! I'm almost finished with my taxol and will be starting FAC on Dec 24th. I'm scheduled to get the catheter this Wed. I was just wondering if it's really as much of a pain in the butt as I've heard. I've elected to do catheter b/c as it turned out in my echogram, I have slow blood flow. My oncologist said b/c of…

Met with radiologist this afternoon.
He was very comforting and thorough in explaining why he thinks I need radiation. I had bilateral mastectomy in June and my tumor edge was very close to the pectoral muscle and my chest wall. Thank goodness I didn't have any lymph node involvement. He feels that I need 5 weeks of radiation. I go for my CT scan and mapping…

I don't feel strong, am I failing at this "war"?
Everything I am reading, hearing, seeing is having a very weakening effect on my psyche. I feel like I'm going in the opposite direction from those of you "fighting the cancer war". Women Doctors for Cancer Patients

It was my daughter, Stephanie's, birthday. It's been almost 4 years since she is gone, but I still miss her. It's true that she had her troubles. She was emotionally disturbed and mentally retarded. But, she had a heart of gold. On a 'good' day, she would always have a smile, and a hug, for all of us. Happy Birthday, my…

Anyone having trouble with bloodshot eyes
My eyes have been bloodshot consistently since after my port was put in and haven't really changed much since. I've done 4 rounds of AC, neo-adjuvant and have 4 rounds of Taxol to go. I've brought this up to the oncologist and he hasn't really offered any concern or explanation. Anyone else have this problem.

Switched from Arimidex to Tamoxifen?
Has anyone been switched from Arimidex to Tamoxifen? I have been on Arimidex for 16 months and have been suffering from severe back, hand and shoulder pain. My oncologist tried me on the other AIs but they were even worse. So now he is considering Tamoxifen. I am wondering if the pain will really get better. Thanks, Scout
