Looking for survivor stories for recurrent De-differentiated retroperitoneal liposarcoma
Hi there, I’m 29 and had several liposarcoma masses removed earlier this year. They were de-differentiated (though some were well-differentiated), and were surgically removed before we knew it was cancer. At my 6 month scan, I just found out I have a recurrence. I am heading towards chemo or radiation before another…

Live CHAT & Support - Saturdays
Hello my fellow caregivers, I regretfully joined this club in 2016 when my husband was as diagnosed with C. I did not find any local support groups for caregivers and I had so many days filled with unwelcome emotions (isolation, sadness, lonely, frustrated, angry, heartbroken and more) and I clawed my way out each and…

Newly Diagnosed and freaking out
Due to history of smoking, I was diagnosed with probable lung cancer last week and am waiting to hear back from the cancer center to schedule an appointment with an oncologist. At the hospital they did an xray and a CT scan and found a mass in my right lung and I have a good sized lump on my neck. I am so stressed about…

What is the process of getting diagnosed with lung cancer?
I was rushed to the ER back in September for chest pain and an abnormal EKG from my primary's office. While in the ER, they did a chest CT where they found a 14 mm (1.4 cm) pulmonary nodule with some focal ground glass opacity surrounding it. It was located in my upper left lobe. At the time they said it was probably a…

Hi, I was diagnosed with IDC. I just found out Friday that is has spread to my lymph nodes. To say my world has come crashing down is the understatement of the century. I’m HR+ Her2 negative. No BRACA. They staged me at 2. Waiting on MRI results. I don’t know how to process. I have two babies. They want me to do 16 rounds…

I'm new here. Its hard to be open about my breast cancer journey. Just curious what this means while I have to wait a week for my doctor to return from vacation...
So recently I had a CT scan for a cough I have had for months which feels like the same type of cough I had when they found thyroid cancer 2.5 years ago, while there is a lot of things in there that is just like "yeah that makes sense, that is kind of expected" there is one thing that seems like a contradictory statement.…
