Anyone on Anastrozole have their cholesterol numbers go up?

Been on anastrozole for a year and a half and the last checkup my cholesterol was up without any difference in exercise of diet.

I've only been on anastrozole for a few months so I don't know yet how it will affect my cholesterol numbers. How significant was your change?

It went up by 20!

No change to diet or exercise.

I have been on anastrozole since January of 2021 . It gives me hot flashes and insomnia . It did not affect my cholesterol

Hi,

im on Anastrozole as well. Just started January. I was already being monitored for elevated cholesterol- though I eat healthy and workout!

Doctor says it’s due to my family history.

so she put me on Robustatin 5mg, and hope when I have blood work reviewed things look better in cholesterol dept.

I eat healthy and work out also so I was shocked by the increase in cholesterol. One good thing is my HDL (the good cholesterol) is high so maybe it will cancel out the effects of the LDL. The only change in my life was the addition of the Anastrozole. Good luck, I hope you have good results :)
