PSA Rising Fast after RP
PSA Rising I was first diagnosed with PC at the age of 53. My RP surgery was on 12/20/2020. A week and a half later, I was experiencing a lot of discomfort and morning erections from the catheter, so the doctor removed the catheter. The day after that (12/31/2020), my testicle grew 3x to its regular size, so my daughter…

Update - Possible NED - Thoughts?
Hey all, It’s been some time but wanted to provide an update and get some perspective! My mother (61) completed chemotherapy (cisplatin) and radiation (70Gy) on 14 February. She had one full dose of chemo and then a 3/4th dose because she was pretty ill (hospitalized with peg tube placed) in later weeks of treatment. Three…

Arimidex and Insomnia
Has anyone else experienced insomnia while on arimidex? If so, what, if anything, did you do to counteract it? I've only been on it for one week, but within two days of taking my first dose I started not sleeping? I'm just wondering if insomnia is a fast-acting side effect or just coincidental? I normally have no problems…

On opting out of further hormone treatment
I'm 70 years old and was recently diagnosed with PC, Stage 4, Gleason 9. I've been on hormone therapy (Zytiga) for 6 months, with good results (PSA 0.08) but debilitating side-effects. Probably another 3 months, then radiography treatment. After this, I'm considering opting out of further hormone treatment. It's a quality…

I lost my sister to ovarian cancer and my…

Any single female survivors?
I know that this is not a dating website. However, I have a tough time relating to nonsurvivors in a dating situation. The best relationship I ever had was with a fellow cancer patient. Sadly, she lost her battle and is no longer with us. I am 30, from GA, and looking for the love of my life.

Life Struggles
No actual question here :) I'm 36. This disease is a taker. It takes and takes and takes, and doesn't give a single **** about how it makes you feel. My circle of friends is getting smaller and smaller. I used to compete/collaborate for work promotions tightly with my friends/colleagues but some of them don't even call me…

VIN 3 dysplasia recurrence
I had the ultrasound ablation surgery last July to remove some VIN 3 lesions. I healed up nicely, but felt itching in January. A follow up showed I have VIN 1 now, and they say no treatment needed. It has gotten worse in the past 2 months and I had to argue to be seen again before my July follow up. In 2 months, I have…

Cancer returned
I was looking in the messages here for people I knew back when I first got my diagnosis back in 2012. I don't see a lot of familiar names. Not sure if that is a good sign or a bad sign. In 2012 I had my left kidney removed because of a massive tumor. At the time of of removal they told me that I was stage 3A. It was clear…

Osteoradionecrosis of the Jaw and Medication Related Osteonecrosis of the jaw
Here is a video I came across and it shows the 2 ways we can have jaw problems. And there is an alternative treatment to HBOT which is good to have but no guarantee it will give you the healing you need. They are now utilizing pentroxiflline and tocopherol. This video in on the medical technical side so my understanding of…

Yearly check up
Hi Everyone and especially my summer 2016 cohort, I had my annual trip to see my surgeon/oncologist/urologist (I love my 3-in-1 doc), annual physical, derm, etc and all is well with my kidney. Always a relief. I know there has been discussion here about creatinine and eGFR - mine came out this time at 1.23 and 46. Pretty…
