Some good news
First I would like to say thanks for the prayers for my friend and neighbor. Her surgery went well and the tumor was removed. The good news is that it was not cancer. She is feeling better today and is being released from the hospital tomorrow. Hugs, Georgia

Brand New & Terrified: HELP!
I just got my results on Tuesday that I have breast cancer. I'm 33 years old. It's in my right breast only, a lump about the size of a piece of corn plus a bunch of tiny deposits. I have no idea what kind and what stage and I'm alone in this. I have no insurance and I have to apply to Medicaid for assistance but I'm told…

Lymphedema
Hi all - I have a question to those of you with lymphedema. How did you know you had it? Was it obvious that your arm was completely swollen, or did it develop gradually? My PT that I was seeing post-surgery for arm and shoulder issues said to look for my watch or ring to be tight. I've been having some pain along a nerve…

My first chemo
I think I could have driven myself but I was more relaxed I guess, and enjoy talking with driver/friend. It went without a problem. I'm pleasantly surprised. Maybe the problems are yet to come, hopefully NOT! The nurses and staff are wonderful in the small city I go to. Since it was first time, I was there 4 and 1/2 hours.…

I am asking for good thoughts for my neighbor and friend. She is having surgery tomorrow for a tumor on her ovaries. She is 82 and not in the best health.
