For those who HATE vein sticks -

last Wed. I had a blood draw before appt. the next day. Why I thought about it I don't know but I did as I had a flush after appt. so had to use EMLA cream for port the next day but forgot to until a few minutes before flush so it 'kinda smarted'. Well I put EMLA on vein before I left home and though it never bothers me for blood draws, I didn't even feel the needle.

Any one else ever done this or thought about it?
