Exploding Head Syndrome
I've avoided mentioning an unusual problem I have been having for a time. It seems to have started around the time I started chemo but I haven't found any reference that chemo can cause this to happen. For me I started hearing loud ringing like different types of phone tones as I was almost asleep. It would be like a phone…

NHL survivor - has anyone had a double masectomy because of mantel radiation to prevent breast cance
Hi, I'm a stage 2b NHL survivor. I was diagnosed in 2007 and had 8 rounds of R-Chop and 35 treatments of mantel radiation. I know the radiation increases our risk of breast cancer by a lot and I am already seeing the changes and starting to have little problems. Has anyone had a preventative double masectomy to reduce your…

Lymphoma advances ?
Just wondering if anybody has heard of any real advances in Lymphoma treatment. I used to hear things now and then, but lately I have not heard anything. I have heard somewhere that a cure is close, but so is the moon compared to Neptune. That's not meant to be funny. Just making a point as to what is meant by close. I…

Selfie
I asked Jim where his picture went, that I missed it. I was just cartooning a picture of myself (for another purpose) and decided to show it off. It isn't really a Selfie (the 2013 Word of the Year) my husband took it with his phone last summer. As you can see, my hair was just starting to grow in well and I am sporting a…

Pet-ct report, suspicious for Intrathecal lymphoma or possible inflammatory process.
Pet-ct on Jan 10 report was good until the last part. This is a new one for me. The report suggest a followup mri or spinal tap. The onc is setting up a mri, thank God, instead of a spinal tap which I've never had. It just sounds uncomfortable. Basically there was a bright spot on the scan in the L4 spinal canal. Has…

Can We Talk Chemo Brain?
Yesterday, I had a Rituxan maintenance infusion and talked to my Doctor, AGAIN, about my brain. He asked me some questions about last night, yesterday, last week, etc. After I answered the questions, he pointed out that I could remember these things. That was when I realized he was "testing" my memory. I told him I wasn't…
