I found a really cute "Miss You" card with different sizes and shapes and colors of…

Question on Rads
I have my second round of chemo today. (XALODA, TAXOTERE). I will have CT scan schedule after this round on Mar.10 to see if this working. By the way I have a liver mets. So, I've asked my onco if I will have a rads after chemo and he said he don't know yet, maybe not likely since they took all the lymph nodes 16 positive…

Just checking in
Hi everyone. I haven't been on for a while so I thought I'd update you on how I'm doing. About three weeks ago I stopped taking Tamoxifen (that I've been on since November). I was having so many cramping pains and just didn't feel right so my oncologist told me to stop taking the medication and see if I felt better. I am…

So port insertion went well, but it is still sore. Has anyone used the Emla cream, and if so, will that really help when I start chemo on Wednesday? The thought of anyone going near my port with a needle right now does not make me happy! :-)

Debilitating feet sores
Has anybody endured redness, swelling, blisters, pain on the sole and heels of their feet? So bad you cannot even walk? Similar to hand foot mouth disease? This is side effect from AC chemo cycles. Anyone want to see my film?
Hey guys, as some of you know, I was working full time and attending film school part time when I was diagnosed in 2008. I had to drop out of school to do chemo and put my dreams on hold. Well, last month I started my program over again. It is a tiring schedule of 10 hours of class a week on top of my full time job, but I…

Hello, I just registered here - just came back from Dr's office after discussing MRI test. besides the lump found earlier, MRI is showing some small suspicious nodes further away from the previously found lump. Femera
Gang, I don't want to be a whiny cry baby, especially when ladies on the board are dealing with more complex and serious issues; but, this Femera is really putting it to me. My shins, calfs, and lower back are killing me. I move around and feel like a 90 year old woman. I am also kind of dizzy (not that I wasn't already.)…

Shaving challenged
Well, you'd think by the time I reached 51 years old, I'd have learned how to shave properly!!! Since chemo has made me mostly hairless anyway, I hadn't worried about shaving for the past few months, but now that I've finished my chemo and am preparing for rads, I wanted to get rid of those few straggler hairs under my…
