BC reoccurence
I had a mastectomy 2 years ago with no radiation or chemo for a stage 1 tumor with no lymph node involvement. I thought that was the end of the story. But yesterday I was diagnosed with invasive, aggressive reoccurence along the site of the mastectomy scar. I simply cannot understand how this can be! I am in a state of…

Surgery is over, now the waiting
I had my surgery, double mast. with immediate reconstruction on Thursday (2.25). I'm staying with my cousin and doing OK. I'm uncomfortable, but the pain is not unbearable. The drains are driving me nuts. I know they are there to help prevent infection, but they are so uncomforable. I'll find out the pathology on Wednesday…

I am considering having my ovaries removed because I was pre-metapausal when diagnosed with BC. I am ER+, PR+, and Her2+. Has anyone had this operation as a way to lower the estrogen and stop from having to take tamoxifen. Also, I was just curious how many people are Her2 positive like me.

With the hopes of Spring soon to be here, I am looking forward to getting some sun again. I used to go to a tanning booth at the start of Spring, just to get that baseline tan. Stupid Question - Rads - How tired is tired or describe fatigue?
I am somewhat confused or uncertain when I read posts and I read that you are tired or that you are experiencing fatigue. Can you describe exactly what you are experiencing?
