when does the peace come.....
I've been registered on this site since August? and have quietly sat and read all the posts (enjoying every single one) but never posted.... not sure why- like posting something would make it more real... HER2+
I am HER2+ and went for my 6 month after radiation mamogram last week. The technician made a remark that I am high risk for recurrence because my nuclear grade is 3. This is very upsetting to me. I thought that since I was stage 1 and no lymph nodes had cancer, I was very low risk for recurrence. Also, I am getting…

Tough
I heard this song for the first time yesterday, when Mark & Brian (local LA morning DJ's) were reading a list of "Songs That Make Men Cry" Although this song wasn't on the official list, Mark brought it up because his wife went through treatment for BC about 3 years ago, and they played it. And yes, it made me cry - FAIR…

Advice Needed
Good afternoon! This is the second time I'm typing this. For some reason, I was kicked off the site the last time. Anyway, I'll try one more time. I haven't posted for a while, partially because I was trying not to think about Cancer, just about getting well - like this was some other kind of illness, but that is not…

This is my first post on the discussion boards, but I have been reading for quite sometime. first question,I had my ovaries removed four weeks after my mastectomy. It has now been a little over four years since this happened. How long do I have to put up with these hot flashes, seems like they are getting worse instead of better. Right now I will have a flash and so turn on the fan, then I get cold and turn on my…

Weight off my chest
I got home from my exchange surgery and am really looking forward to a good night's sleep. My surgery was a breeze, the nurses couldn't get over me. I was smiling, really alert and chatting away.
