Bras for large breasts with Radiation burns

Hi,

I am new to this site. I am 69 and got diagnosed with Stage 1A IDC. I had a Lumpectomy followed by 1 week of Radiation. I started letrozole after that.

6 weeks after radiation I developed a big burn under my left breast. I went to several drs and last week the radiation Oncologist determined it was a burn from the radiation. I am on Doxycycline and Aquaphor 4 times a day. My problem is that I have large breast and this breast is swollen. I went for a bra fitting several weeks ago and was told to go up a size. I keep buying new bras and they all hurt. I am using 4x4 gauze on top of the Aquaphor but the bra straps are very painful. It also hurts to go without a bra, but I do at home.

Can anyone suggest a good bra for large busted women? Also, is there some type of pad I could put under the band of the bra? I typically wear Wacoal underwire bras but they are miserable. Thanks!
