Do not know what happens, uncertainty is difficult
Principally I have no reason to get mad yet but I cannot concentrate on my work now today. I do not have any diagnosis yet. But my gynegologist looked worried because of the ultrasound during my routine visit for a couple of weeks ago. The endometrium had been 15 millimeter thick. I’ll go to the hospital in the beginning…

Have You a list of Phytoestrogen products, the are not good for everybody
Hi I was extremely surpriced when my gynegologist found by ultrasound my endometrial hyperplacia that can be cancer or ”only” a hyperplacia, a pre-stage of cancer, I’ll get to know it after I have had biopsy in the Juli. I do not belong to any typical risk group. I have eaten very healthy food, I do not consume much…

I am 46 years old and for the last 2 ish years I have been dealing with what I thought were peri-menopausal things. My paps have always been good except one about 2 1/2…

Do they give paps when you have had a hysterectomy? Concerned
Hi all. I'm six months overdue for my cancer checkup and I am trying to get into a doctor because I've been having some familiar pains. However, I've decided to go to a different oncologist because my normal one didn't see me but sent in a NP who proceeded to give me a pap smear. I was confused about this because I have no…

Abdominal Blockage?
Hello fellow travelers, I'm bummed out, and could use a sympathetic ear. A bit of background: UPSC stage 4 due to swollen paraaortic lymph nodes that could not be removed. Total hysterectomy Nov 2012, chemo, and external IMRT radiation. NED CT Scan Dec 2013; but does say malrotated small bowel. Ever since surgery, then…

Need some advice...UPSC STAGE IIIC
My mother was diagnosed with UPSC stage 3c in august of 2013. She had 6 rounds of chemo and then radiation. By the end of radiation treatments (March 2014) she started to complain of neckaches. She put it off thinking that she would wait until her radiation was over to see a chiropractor. The neckache continued after…

Ugh! Symptoms - but where to go?
Ok. We all talk about symptoms. But I don't know where to turn with these one. I just called my gyne/onc and the PA indicated that she didn't feel that these symptoms had anything to do with a recurrence. Here's the symptoms: By the way, I am not on any medications except Motrin when needed Head area: left side headaches,…

New to this discussion board.
My story: Feb. thru May, 2013, I was either spotting or bleeding and I had been tracking it for another health condition I was suffering at the time. My PCP sent me to an ob/gyn. She did a pap test and it came back with two different atypical cells. Had a colposcopy in June, 2013 and they diagnosed it as endometrial…

CA -125 continues to rise
Went to the doctor and my marker went from 705 to 905. He gave me several options. When I came to Florida my marker was 712 from September so to raise only 200 points in 6 months is a slower rise, for me Than previously. 1) have a CAT scan and if it shows significant increase in lymph nodes, go back on Taxol/cisplatin. 2).…

Avastin
Anyone have this for recurrence? My good friend with UPSC has a recurrence again and her oncologist is treating her with Avastin this time. If any sign of continued growth, he will refer her to someone in San Francisco (UCSF I think). I'm just curious what you all may know about Avastin for uterine cancer. She said onc…

Marker continues to rise
Went to the doctor this week. My CA 125 went from 905 to 1441. I was hoping for less than 1200. I continue to feel good and have no symptoms. The doctor was not concerned about the number. He said he has seen the number go to 100,000 on some people before they need treatment. He talked about when the number doubles, that…

I may have a problem

Any docs or cancer centers that specialize in rare Uterine cancers e.g. USPC, clear cell, MMMT
Hello everyone. I haven't started treatment yet for Uterine Serous Papillary Carcinoma but am thinking ahead. I wonder if any doctors or cancer centers have a niche in this? Does anyone know if there are USPC specialists out there? I know the generally accepted advice is to seek a second opinion from an NCI-designated…
