PET Scans?
My sister's oncologist does not want to do a PET scan. He doesn't like them for Ovarian cancer. I was not with her at the appt so I didn't get a chance to ask why. Did you all get a PET scan? Do you recommend one?

Had ct scan, a possible new spot on vaginal cuff
I am a part of gog 213 study. Been on avastin for ten months post first reoccurence that was treated with carbo, taxol and avastin. Ovarian cancer 3c diagnosed Dec 2008. I am on the gog 213 study. I have recieved avastin twenty one times. Part of the avastin infusions were given in combination with carbo, taxol for six times during chemo for a reoccurence last June. Jan 2011 I continued on just evastin. In the GOG 213 trial you stay on it until there is a reoccurence. I am the only one…

Not the news I wanted
I found out the results of my biopsy - it is breast cancer. Still numb. Can't figure out how that can be when I tested negative for the BRAC 1 & 2 and have been on Avastin for 15 mos. Will know more tomorrow after I meet with the surgeon

I had another CA-125 test on Nov. 15. Results today. 9.1!!! Spending time with my kids. Daughter has been here since Friday. Son just arrived a little while ago. First time I've seen him since April. Just finished my 5th round of topo, 5 days a week every 2 weeks. This was a rough one, had a reaction from the sterods, so they stopped them, left me extremly tired, anyone else on topo?.
