BMB back on for tomorrow...
Boy oh boy...after living with my hubby for 32 years I thought I knew all there was to know about him.(WRONG)... Steve is a "very" quiet layed back kind of guy and rarely shows emotion or gets vocally up-set. He called at noon today and I told him about the mess up at the clinic and insurance co and the postponement of the…

radiation therapy to the neck and taste buds
Hello everyone. I'm curious if anyone else has had radiation treatments to the neck. I completed 15 sessions of radiation two weeks ago for a total dose of 3000 cGY. It was not fun! It has been the most agonizing thing I've been through since my dx in Dec. 09'. I'm still without any taste buds and my saliva is only 25% of…

What do you think?
On July 31st we plan to leave on vacation for 2 weeks. This coming up Tuesday I get the bone marrow test done which will tell us if my cancer is in the marrow/bone, or both. From what you all have said this will be the last step in staging my cancer...(stage 3 right now. I'm guessing once my doctor knows "exactly" what…

Going for bone marrow/biopsy test
I have this one last test to finish out the staging of my cancer. Right now I know I am stage 3 follicular lymphnoma-grade2-Type A. If the results show that the cancer is also in the marrow, does that put me at a stage 4, and does that also mean the treatment will be alot more involved than if it wasn't in the bone marrow?

Pancreas Tumor and NHL?
I have been diagnosed with Stage 3, Low Grade, NHL and have been going thru chemo. My cancer was caught when they discover two tumors thru a CT scan. It showed two tumors, one on top of my pancreas (5 x 5.6 x 4.8 cm) and a groin lymph node. They took out the groin tumor, and since it did not have pancreatic cells, they…

New to CSN - nearly 2 years post Stage 4 NHL
Hi, I'm new to this forum and wondering if there are any others living post treatment, mostly going strong, but sometimes struggling emotionally with flashbacks of the trauma of diagnosis and treatment? I was diagnosed at the age of 38 with a huge mediastinal (chest) mass which was advanced and immediately life…

Some good news and some potential bad news.
Good news is that my tests are fine, no signs of masses or blood problems. I also will go see a neurologist, just to double check that my brain is alive and kicking. Bad news is that my resting heart rate is at around 100, and this has been going on for a while. It's concerning, so I'm waiting on what will be done.

Neurological and mental issues post-chemo?
I underwent treatment for Hodgkin's last year (ABVD) and am wondering if any of you had severe emotional issues after treatment? I had depression prior to my diagnosis, but it comes in swings now, almost like I'm bipolar. I'm on Prozac and seeing a therapist, but is there any form of psychological testing that I can look…

Does anyone know if its normal to sweat after chemo? I had my first round a week ago and now I notice I can be sitting in the house and notice that I am starting to sweat for no apparent reason. It usually does not last long, but it concerns me.

When did the cancer go away?
I was diagnosed with large b-cell non-hodgkins with characteristics of hodgkins (gray zone lymphoma) in March. I am doing six R-CHOP treatments. After 2 cycles I had a CT scan done. The cancer had improved some. After the 4th cycle I had a PET scan done. The cancer was "better". Just wondering after what treatment cycle…

A question about the port
Hi, I have a question about the port. I had it installed a couple of weeks ago right before my first session of chemo, and since the tube was removed I'm terrified to get it restuck, does it hurt really bad or am I just scaring myself? Because I'm terrified to get my next round of chemo because of it.

Thanks for all the words of support, the way I'am looking at this, is I got 25% of my treatments done and in the bag, I go tomorrow for the dreaded Neulasta shot, I'm beginning to feel that shot wrecks me more then the Chemo...hahahahahaha This compared to my last treatment for cancer which was head and neck is a lot…

It really does end!
Glad to hear both of you are hanging in there. Ooooeee I can really remember the tired. There were times at work that I would sit in my car for a break and then wonder how I was going to get back in. I slept a lot and think I probably helped myself out by doing so. I never had any open sores in my mouth but it was really,…
