What to do it no diagnosis yet, but elevated AMAS?
I didn't really know where else to post this. I have been having many of the symptoms associated with pancreatic or liver cancer but no diagnosis yet. Had cat scans, endoscopic ultrasounds, etc, no smoking guns but some blood tests came back suspect. Plus the weight loss, no appetite and ever present right side, mid-back…

Planting a Tree for LIFE today...
My new Sterling Silver Linden Tree will be here in about an hour. This is my stand...a tree for my new LIFE. Hubby is happy because it will shade our hot, dry yard. To me it symbolizes a move forward. Pictures later when it's all done. It's a big tree...2 1/2 inch trunk and already about 12-15 feet tall (it will eventually…

Anybody have burned lips?
I guess the chemo burned my lips and I have something like a bad sunburn that has turned into a white scab across my lips. I got four of five kinds of lip treatment at the store but I figure you guys might know what would work best. My oncologist said to use "water based" formula. Anybody have a good product? Thanks.

While I know so many are currently struggling finding a good oncology team and second opinions, some of us have already fought that gauntlet and reached nirvana. I'm one of the lucky ones with superb care. While I was as the Liver Symposium in Chicago in May, one of the speakers called my Radiation Oncologist the 'guru'…
