tomorrow - July 8 is my birthday and chemo day. Happy birthday to me. I wiil be having a chemo birthday party. After my birthday treatment I get another scan to see how well everything is working. Hopefully I will get a good report for my birthday present. Wish me well and pray for good results. I feel positive.

    It's a bummer that you have to have chemo on your birthday, but I'm hoping that you get to do something special when you get back from there. Hoping that your scan goes well. Good luck tomorrow and your scan.

    Hey Eric!

    Happy early birthday to you! My birthday is friday the 10th and I will be the big FOUR "O"!! And just like you, I will be in the midst of chemo. I get infusion on Thursday and start my 7 day Xeloda on Friday (b-day)...so here's to you on your birthday...in hopes that you will celebrate many more to come!

    Hi Eric,

    Happy birthday! What a way to celebrate a birthday- :~ I had chemo today too (just Avastin, actually). I hope you are feeling well. I guess you can get in a nice nap for your birthday (or else you'll be up all night!) Fight on!!
    We share a birthday month- mine is on Saturday the 11th- I'll be turning 43. I leave on vacation tomorrow & so I'll not post again until at least the 20th, when we return. You hang in there & keep up the positive attitude- I really believe it helps your body heal better. Feeling calm helps reduce the cortisol in your body, so that's a good reason to keep up the cheery attitude.

    We share the same exact birthday although if you are 39 I am a little bit older. Unfortunately we share our cancer,too.

    I never minded having birthdays-but now I love them!! It means that I am still here. Tomorrow I will be celebrating my second one since diagnosis!

    I sure hope you have a Happy Day!

    Big bummer having chemo on your birthday. However, it is one more step toward many more birthdays. My husband had chemo on my birthday and my daughter's birthday (same day) last month. Pick a time you are feeling well to celebrate!

    seem extra special now that we have hit
    some potholes on the road. Mine is July 14,
    Bastille Day.....was at a Reds baseball game
    last week, they won, and their screen showed
    each player and some bio including birthdate....
    man, did that ever make me feel my age, they
    were all born in the 80s......gee whiz.....
