Not the tamoxifen...
A few days ago, I wrote about a problem I was having which I attributed to Tamoxifen. I was WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Went to my new family doctor. After explaining my painful experiences with muscle cramping on AI's and Tamoxifen, she said she doesn't believe it's the tamoxifen. She took a closer look at my other meds…

Biopsy
Hello all, I am new to this. I had a mammogram on Monday followed by an ultrasound. The Mammogram didn’t show anything but they’re found an intraductal mass of 1.4 cm with the ultrasound on my left breast categorized as birad 4. I am scared. I started reviewing my previous reports and noticed that in 2020 an ultrasound…

It’s been 7 days since biopsy and still waiting for results is this a bad sign ?
Hello, I had a biopsy last Thursday July 20- and I am still waiting for the results. Is this a bad sign ? I read that if they find a malignancy they need to run more tests and that’s why it may take more time . Has anyone experienced a long wait but got a positive result ? I appreciate your help ! Thanks so much

Traveling
Every single member of my cancer care team encouraged me/us to NOT cancel our family cruise scheduled next month to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. Now that it's just a few weeks away, I have a lot of mixed emotions. I know I can't do lakes, oceans, public pools, hot tubs, saunas, and I have to be careful about sun…

Had lumpectomy April 27, 2022. I was blessed, margins clear, no lymph node involvement. July 22, 2023 will be a year since my last radiation treatment. I have had PET scans and 3 D mammogram, (hurt like the devil) and surgeon did breast exam. No cancer. I suffer from anxiety and occasional panic attacks. I just want to get…

My wife is pushing me away
She was diagnosed with aggressive stage 2, Her2+, double negative (hormone, which isn’t apparently common) breast cancer, in Jan of ‘23. In the beginning, it was “us” and “our fight”, but has changed. After her 3rd chemo treatment, “Hell Week” was exceptionally brutal. A few days after treatment, admittedly, I was trying…

Cough during/following radiation
Hey, I just wanted to give folks a heads up about the cough, pneumonitis, that can result from radiation for breast cancer treatment. I had a month's worth of radiation, and early on started to develop a mild cough. It got a bit worse as treatment went on, but the doc said it probably wasn't radiation-related. He said that…

Breast Papilloma
Has anyone had a situation like this; A small cluster of micro-calcifications were found on my annual mammogram that were not seen on my last Mammo or the annual MRI I had six months after mammo. Letrozole and side effects
Does anyone know if the side effects of Letrozole are permanent? I’d rather take my chances than continue to be in pain for the next five to ten years. I have the joint pain, the chronic cough, the hot flashes and sweats. I already have osteopenia so what damage does this pill actually do besides lower estrogen? Curious

Arimidex and Insomnia
Has anyone else experienced insomnia while on arimidex? If so, what, if anything, did you do to counteract it? I've only been on it for one week, but within two days of taking my first dose I started not sleeping? I'm just wondering if insomnia is a fast-acting side effect or just coincidental? I normally have no problems…

Extreme Thirst on Tamoxifen
Hi. I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer at the end of February. I had genetic testing and I have no mutations for breast cancer.
