Surgery preparation
Hi. I will be having a masectomy of my left breast on Dec. 15. I will also have reconstruction. I will get expanders to be followed by silicone, I think, the plastic surgeon said I didn't have enough belly fat for the other surgery, which sounded scarey with 6 plus hours of surgery...Also, I am a B cup. Question is what…

Tamoxifen and a rare uterine cancer connection known since 1993
When I first learned of the connection between uterine papillary serous carcinoma and Tamxifen use to stave off repeat breast cancer. I assumed it was a recent discovery and doctors weren't mentioning it because they had yet to learn of it. Today I found this abstract from 1993. Whatever happened to first do no harm? J…

Three Dog Night...
Three handsome male dogs are walking down the street when they see a beautiful, enticing, female poodle. The three male dogs fall all over themselves in an effort to be the one to reach her first, but end up arriving in front of her at the same time. looking for a word
With Christmas coming I thought it would be a good time to ask this question. What are some other ways we can be referred to other than 'survivors'? I value that label, but it smacks of being a victim of something (we are!) but I'd like to put a more positive spin on the label. I like 'warriors' because of the strength…
