I met our very own "Christmas Girl"....
Our husbands sat next to each other as she and I did... The warm welcoming embrace.. and the hug before moving on in our seperate directions... she is everything that she seems to be... a big heart... a warm embrace... a kindred spirit... one I felt I had always known even if I had never before seen her face...
She will have her computer next Saturday... or possibly on Sunday to once again be what she has been to many of us... an encouragement... a support system... a friend... a beloved sister...
Christmas Girl... I hope you know how very much today meant to me... I love you, my dear sister!
♥ & hugs,
~T

I am so happy for you that you were able to meet and spend time with Susan.
I am a little jealous but happy at the same time.

I knew that you would all celebrate the meeting between "sisters"... Susan was also one of the first ones to welcome me as well... I plan on meeting more of you... one at a time... it was a wonderful experience... and I will see her again!
I will tell you that it really kind of put me in check... what I mean is.. this board has been wonderful, but I had been asking myself if the "connections" where real... not that everyone isn't supportive, because they are... but I had come to question the "realness" of it... I will never again question it... yes... it's a connection... and it is very real.
Hugs,

Aww, T...
I am touched. If I actually "blushed" (I don't), I would be now...
:-)
Am so glad we took advantage, made the effort, to meet in person during that small window of time you had free during your very quick trip to/from the Chicago area. It was just as meaningful to me, too. To meet you, a true pink sister. To exchange actual physical hugs. For both of us - the very first time we met a fellow CSNer.
Conversation was easy and natural. Unlike a first time meeting between strangers. Of course, none of us are strangers here. Talked a bit about BC, then... lots of "life in general" in between,too... Nice, very nice - indeed.
Bonus: the husbands enjoyed themselves! It was Bob's first experience talking to the husband - your Dennis - of a breast cancer survivor. Yes, even though it's been six years for me.
Awesome, all the way around.
Yeah, I do know, T. Me, too. 'Nuf said...

I try hard to keep envy and jealousy as far away as humanly possible. Yet, I understand that yours is meant without even a hint of malice - yes, in the best possible way!
You know where I live. Don't either of you ever DARE travel near to me without planning a meeting!
Kindest regards,
12/25 -and/or- Susan

T and I spoke of how many of our pink sisters live in the SoCal area.
Could be a rather large gathering! Hopefully, some day.
Kindest regards,
