Why Do I Feel Like I'm Giving Birth Every Time I Have A Bowel Movement?
Okay, I know I've been on here before talking about painful bowel movements and I've gotten some great advice and suggestions that even worked. bummer
I'm about 16 months post-treatment and had a pet scan on my last check up. They found "abnormal cells" in the bone marrow of the sacrum (tail bone) They're not seeing metasisis from the anal cancer, but this may be what they call "secondary cancer" caused by the radiation. Anyone else had anything like this?

For those of you who get DEXA scans, how long did you wait after radiation to have the scan. Radiation effects continue over time, but I wonder if one should wait for a yr or more after the scan to get a more accurat evaluation.

Biopsy for follow up?
I am nearly three months out of treatment now. I had a pet scan approximately 6 weeks out of treatment that showed the lymph nodes clear and tumor had shrunk.
