Update
I saw my CR dr the 7th. On the 21st, I'll have an exam under anesthesia, dilation and colonoscopy. Merry Christmas to me! I could have waited until after the holidays, but my sister has the week of the 21st off and she's my driver. Plus I wanted to get it over with and find out what's going on. I'm doing better thanks to Lomotil and only take it once a day. I've also started taking Allign probiotics so that might be helping, too.
My CR dr realizes that the radiation affected the anus. He tried to do a DRE, but I was a whimp. At first, I thought I was just going to have the EUA, but then he asked how long it's been since last colonoscopy. It's been almost 3 years. So on the 20th, I'll take 3 Dulcolax tablets, followed by a Miralax/Gatorade chaser. It made me sick last time. Hopefully, I can regain weight.
I'm going to ask Santa for a new rear end!

I hope all will go well with your upcoming tests and that you'll get the all clear so you can celebrate the holidays knowing all is well. It's good to hear that you are doing better. I have started taking Imodium one tablet daily to slow down my output and so far, so good. I skip a day now and then if I start feeling constipated. I know what you mean about the colonoscopy prep making you sick, as it has affected me that way too. It's hard for a person my size or your size to get all of that stuff down without getting nauseated. I do hope this time will go better for you in that regard.
Please update us after your tests and let us know how everything went. I am hoping that everything will look great--and then you can ask Santa for a new toaster instead of a new rear end!
Hugs--
Martha
