I have an odd question. But I am newly diagnosed and am trying to get my questions answered as they pop into my head. With thyroid cancer,do you have to wear a medical bracelet that would alarm EMT's that you are a thyroid cancer patient.

how soon after a total Thyroidectomy can I have RAI
Is it standard to wait two months to undergo RAI or can it be done sooner. I know I have to have it done and I just want to get it over with so I can see if the cancer is in any other part of my body.

I am seriously confused about the iodine diet. they said to have no iodine but packaging dont list iodine. how can you know what to eat.
