I FEEL AS THO I HAVE A GREAT TEAM OF DRS AT NY HOSPITAL. ONE IS TRYING ME ON RADIOACTIVE IODINT TREATMENT TO SHRINK TUMOR. THE ONCOLOGOLIST IS GIVING ME SUTENT THREE DAYS AFTER ENCININOLOGY BEGINS THIS RADIOLOICAL IODINE TREATMENT--IT IS NOT THE FIVE DAY A WEEK-SIX WEEK KIND.
MY THYROID TUMOR WAS INOPERABLE THO THEY TREY TRIED FOR FIVE HOURS. IT WAS TOO CLOSE TO THE AORTA. SO THIS A BIG CHANCE FOR ME. HAS ANYONE USED SUDENT. I'LL ALSO BE TAKING SUPPLEMENTS INCLUDING POLY MVA
I WAS IRRADIATED FOR AN ENLARGED THYMUS AS AN INFANT SO THIS MADE ME A HIGH RISK--AND STUPID IN RETROSPET FOR NOT BEING A BETTER WATCH DOG.
I LIVED FOR YEARS WITH A GOITER ON THE RT SIDE--THEN IN 2006 WHEN I WENT FOR MY SCAN MY DR NEVER TOLD ME ANPTHER NODULE DEVELOPED ON THE LEFT SIFT AND IN FAIRNESS I DIDN'T PRESS HIM. SO IT GREW AND IS CLASSED AS POORLY DIFFERIEATED AND AGGRESSIVE. BUT IT HAS NOT SPREAD TO THE LUNGS OR HEAD. AND I HAVE NOT LOST MY VOCAL CHORDS.
THE FIRST BIOPSY IN FEB--NEEDLE VERSION CAME BACK MALIGNANT--IN APRIL WHEN I HAD SURGERY SECOND BIOPSY CAME BACK BENIGN SO I AM HOPEFUL THO ON PAIN MED. GOOD LUCK--APPRECIATEN FEED BAK THANKS
