extremely sore throat and taxotere
Have any of you experienced this? Other than the lidocane elxir that they call magic (that does not work for me) what did you do? I have to swallow the magic lidocane in order to take Tylenol (or other pain reliever)so that I can eat. How long does this sore throat last? What can you suggest that I do to make my life easier

OTC Anti-Nausea Meds-Recommendations?
I completed my first A/C cycle July 17th. I am now experiencing the latter stages of DCIN-Delayed Chemotherapy Induced Nausea. Decision made/ovarian "abduction"
Hi all, Yes I mean to say "abduction" rather than ablation, puts me in mind of aliens coming and sucking my ovaries into the ship. I saw my oncologist today and he was enthusiastically 100% behind my having an ovarian ablation (laproscopic) and staying on arimidex. He told me that he is recommending this route for a lot…

Skipping a day of radiation
The radiation machine at my oncology center broke down today and I couldn't get my treatment. For those who have already done radiation, or are doing it now, do you think this happens very often? Many thanks
I can't seem to get to the icon for responding to each of you that posted about my panicky feelings...I can't tell you how much it has helped knowing that this is probably a normal reaction to my situation. I do think that 'not doing anything' right now (as opposed to chemo, rad, etc.) has something to do with my feelings.…

Hi all, I am once again in need of some wisdom and experience. When I first joined this discussion I wrote that my bloodwork showed that I was post-menopausal. Well low and behold I had a regular old period about one week ago. I was taking arimidex with no side effects or problems. I was initially precribed tamoxifen and…
