Walking 30 feet exhausts me ...
I just finished chemo about 3 weeks ago. And the worst thing (besides the weepy eyes) is that any distance greater than about 20 feet just exhausts me. I haven't always felt this way. Just after chemo. Is this normal to have your muscles feel so heavy? I thought I'd be getting over side effects, not creating new ones. I…

comfort
Help! I have tried every bra know to man (or woman) and have 2 prosthesis. They are uncomfortabe they ride up and the seams on the side hurt. If I don't wear a mastecomy bar, the falseie rides up and lands under my chin. I don't feel good about the way I look, and besides not looking good, it hurts. Also, what do you use…

By 2015...
I bought my Breast Cancer book of stamps! They are predicting that in ten years, we will no longer suffer and die from cancer! I guess the molecular-target-therapies are advancing at a rapid rate! It seems so hopeful! Praise God!

weeping eyes
Hi, all - sorry I haven't been in the chat room for the past couple of months, but I can't get in! Anyway, here's the newest problem --I'm on taxotere and carboplatin and my eyes run tears constantly - to the point where my cheeks are chapped! People think I'm crying until I explain (and then the sympathy stops - maybe I…

Staps!! Any suggestions?
My real question tonight is about bras. Have left mastectomy and use a regular weight prosthesis. However, during the day the bra band drifts ever so slightly, and slowly, in the diection of the remaining breast. So, after a few hours the strap over the remaining breast is falling down-I pull it up, falling down, etc. The…

My Husband Said I Caused My Cancer
Because my mother and grandmother both died from breast cancer, I've had mammograms since I was 30. I felt that it was likely that I would also get cancer, but with the mammograms and doctor's visits, I thought I could catch it early. Well, I despite the mammos & dr. visits, I didn't catch it early. It was a 2.7 cm. tumor…

Coming to the end of my chemotherapy at the end of this month and looking forward to it. Back in August '03 when I had my left breast removed, my surgeon then, recommended that an expander for saline implants be placed for reconstruction to prevent other incisions on other parts of my body for getting fat tissue and for…

Hummer:
Hi Hummer, I don't have a reply function on the board until I post a new topic but wanted to ask you about the reply you gave to MTRI. You told her that if she was post menopausal she did not want Tamoxifen. I have been on Tamoxifen since the beginning of treatment and recently asked my Onco about changing to Arimidex. He…
