Results from PET/CT look great
I just got the results from my PET/CT Scan and it’s good news. No spread and only thickening of soft tissues in the presacral space, unchanged in size and decreased hypermetabolic activity. My Oncologist indicated I would not need another scan for a year. Not NED but PFS (progression free survival). And my Neuropathy is…

Last two CT scans bad
My scan on November 30 showed quite a bit of increase in growth of what were "tiny" places in my liver. My CEA had started going up also and my Doctor was really flabbergasted. It's been rough since then. Outlook seemed terrible. I posted about having the Y90 treatment directly into my liver, have talked to the radiologist…

Radiologist offered hope, first I've heard in a while!
So I had my consult with a Radiologist regarding the radioembolization therapy. He spoke with me for almost an hour! He was way more positive than my oncologist has been since my bad scan results in November. So the radiologist really thinks he can either do an ablation of the places in my liver and the lone one in my lung…

Seeing Onc Tomorrow and Nervous
Ugh. Haven't seen her since September when I had to stop the chemo because of getting septic shock due to (probably) the chemo irritating my colon and it allowing 4 different colon bacterias into my bloodstream. I knew this was happening, knew it was after 4 infusions, know it has to be done, my oncologist was happy with my scans because the lesions shrunk and the uptake was reduced, BUT, somehow the reality of seeing the sketch of what is being removed and setting the date somehow made me start crying and I cried all the way…
