Thanks
I just got back from a 400 mile round trip to see a liver surgeon that my onc referred me to. My onc office did not include my latest PET scan report and the CD they sent me with did not have the latest scan. On the way home I was so discouraged because I felt like it was a wasted trip and using up my precious sick leave.…

Still in Limbo..again, but hopeful
Went to the surgeon today for follow up on Bob's PET results. Unfortunately, the PET is inconclusive. (yes, again we are in limbo, but it's ok as I'm still mindful of my blessings) It's about 50/50 at this point whether it's a new or reoccurrance liver met or something else. So.. a biopsy will be scheduled soon (we're…

I want to let everyone know that I lost my husband, Brad on July 15th. He developed pneuomonia and was too weak from chemo to recover. He was the strongest and bravest person I have ever known.

Goodbye to a friend
This will be one of the hardest posts I will ever post on this site... This morning, around 4:30 am, Kerry Morton, aka Kerry, passed away. Actaually, many of us close to Kerry feel the Kerry we know "left" probably 3 months ago. Until this morning, she was restricted to bed and her quality of life was lacking to say the…

I saw my onc today and the news was my CEA went up again. She feels the folfiri is not being effective. I get a scan next week. She wants me to do Erbitux.
