Just not feeling well. Neuropathy in feet just struck full force out of no where.
I know you'd think after cancer, I'd be running to an orthapedist about my feet but I just dread yet another doctor's visit. My feet have been feeling painful but always tolerable. Some days I even forget that I have pain in them, it's just something you get used to. Today, I stood up and was washed over by general…

To Remove Port or Keep it?
Hi Everyone, I have a question. A month ago, when I saw my oncologist, she told me that if my next scans were clear and my CEA was stable, she would recommend I remove my port. She feels that keeping it in just in case I have a recurrence makes it harder to move forward after treatment. I have spoken to my counselor about…

I completed 8 of the 12 suggested rounds of chemo and was miserable with fatigue and neuropathy.…

5 yrs war
For me, it officially began just over 5 years ago. We'll never know exactly when for my wife. She began to obstruct and have diarrhea a month earlier, right after a first trip to Bangkok. (I've still never been to Thailand) At first the dr thought amebiasis, and tried several rounds of antibiotics without success. She lost…

Hubby is Home - Wow I'm on the other side
Hubby is home and thank you all once again for your prayers and thoughts. This is so different being on this side of things when being a caregiver instead of being a patient. I'm sure that me being a patient wasn't very easy as I'm so emotional anyway, but being on this side of things is totally different. The doctor says…

Have any of you experienced muscle pain while on Avastin? I'm not sure if it's related, but it's currently the only drug I'm taking while NED. In other news, while I was down here…

I'd like to know about liver metastases: both size and number of them, because one surgeon doubts diagnose is ok, how many liver mets do you have and range of sizes?
