Hi sisters, I am getting close to the day I get my first taxol treatment - on Friday. I have a concern. I heard they give you pre-meds the day before treatment, 10 steroids (WOW) to prevent allergic reaction? Anyhow, my Onco will not do this with me. I will simply go in on Friday, do my blood test, and wait to be called…

I was given a 10 percent higher dosage of radiation than normal because the cancer was Grade 3. I experienced little fatigue during the course of my treatment, but…

Please Help... Emotional and Mental Support and Advice Needed
Ever since my bilateral mastectomy, I have been on some drugs to prevent remission but they are really messing with my memory. Saw the pulmonary specialist yesterday and had bronchoscopy today
Just wanted to update everyone who is following my story. I saw the pulmonary specialist yesterday. I don't know if I only heard what I wanted to hear or if the oncologist down-played things until he had a consult. Lots of changes between the CT in May and the PET a couple of weeks ago. Today I had a bronchoscopy under…

PET Scan Results--Not what I expected
I saw the oncologist today. The lung nodules are growing very slowly, and still to small to biopsy. He also believes that my cough could be caused by the blood pressure medicine I've been taking for 20+ years. He said he is comfortable with a wait and see approach to the lung nodules since they are growing to slowly to be…
