Book for Children
In one of the wonderful emails I read, someone mentioned a book for children that explains cancer - and I am hoping - chemotherapy. It would be great for my 9-year old daughter. . .and since I work with kids from preschool-6th grade, I thought a book might help them understand what changes their "speech teacher" is going…

That's right, people in Maine believe marriage should be a sacred institution between a really stoned man and a really stoned woman." –Conan O'Brien "Big losses for the Democrats in the elections. late port pinching/zinging question
Hi, I've had my port for a few months and it everything is healed. Lately I have been having repeated pinching/zinging feelings...like a light throbbing that I feel every few minutes or so. Does this happen to anyone else? What does it feel/look like if you get an infection, blood clot,or have it come undone? Thanks, Jen

Sooner than we know it, THE HOLIDAYS will be upon us! Some of us celebrate, some of us don't. Found Lump
During my self-breast exam I found a lump and immediately made an appointment with my Dr. I'm only 28, but my family history is extensive and as always -- better be safe than sorry. I was expecting my doctor to feel around and just tell me that I had lumpy breasts, but that wasn't the case. After the exam, he came back in…
