Breast Cancer and Diabetes

She has to eat regularly and has been keeping her numbers right where they need to be. But the effects of chemo, I've heard, include not being able to keep…

Am I The Oldest One On This Site?
I am curious. Is there anyone older than me on this site? I just turned 69 years old in January. I might be 69 years old in body but my mind is very young. And...I am still working full time as an Administrative Assistant. I am half Italian and half Polish. I do believe that I get my stamina from the Polish side of the…

Taxotere tomorrow--Need your prayers
As many of you know, I had a terrible reaction to taxol on Jan 19. My onc sent me home to rest my body and plans to use taxotere at my next infusion which is tomorrow, Tuesday Feb 9. On the positive side, I've regained some energy and have felt more like myself since the taxol on Jan 19 had to be stopped 7 minutes into the…

Hair Loss
I just finished my second round of chemo and my hair is falling out like crazy. My scalp is also very tender. Is this normal? Will it ease up if I shave my whole head, or does that make any difference? Also, have any of you had any burning/pressure in your upper chest after chemo (possibly related to the port catheter)?

Hello friends from DMC's daughter.
