Allergic to lidocaine

alternative to lidocaine
I am allergic to lidocaine and xylocaine. I have had good luck with marcaine -- no reactions and it works, but it takes a larger does of marcaine than equivalent lidocaine and takes a little longer to take effect. You might ask dr. about this.
