Orgovyx & 2nd generation hormone therapy
Has anyone here had experience with the new pill Orgovyx? Do you know if it is compatible with Zytiga or 2nd generation drugs? My husband is Gleason 9 and nervous about the Lupron side effects so even though side effects look to be the same he is considering Orgovyx. The radiation oncologist says whatever he wants to use…

Knocking on Prostate Cancer Treatment Door
So I was diagnosed with high volume Gleason 6 in February 2020. I had a 3TMPMRI in March 2021 (only PIRAD-2 mentioned). Yesterday I had another 3TMPMRI and they found a lesion in the peripheral zone: in left posterior lateral and lateral peripheral zones extending from the apex of the base. This lesion measures 1.2 x 0.4 x…

Biopsy 2nd Opinion: Better, but it's still RP time
To review: I'm 67, have been on Active Surveillance since April 2018 when my first biopsy found one of 12 cores with about 10% of 3+3 Gleason score prostate cancer. Third biopsy in December 2021 came back with one of 12 cores with 22% of 4+4, quite a change. Immediately went into battle mode, deciding on RP surgery - but…

Confused about PSA Number
I had an RP in 2017 and my PSA has since then been <0.1. Last October (2021) the PSA changed to 0.04 and the doctor was concerned that the cancer may be comimg back. This month February 2022 my PSA again tested 0.04. I'm confused because isn't 0.04 less than 0.1? Isn't that a lower score? Thank you

Biopsy scheduled - Questions
Had borderline PSA over the limit for a few years and finally high enough I was told I needed an in office biopsy or MRI. I went with the MRI, which I guess was good because the Pi-RAD 4 lesion is in the anterior region and likely wouldnt have been caught.
