lazy bowels from chemo
Carbo and steroids recently caused an impaction. After ememas etc, my doc said to use Senecot, and could use it indefinately...it seems to be irritating my bowels and rectum, but I don't know what else to do. low RBC
My RBC was low today so I got my first shot of Aranesp and a list of the side effects. I am praying that none of them show up! Any experience with this drug from you would be appreciated if you care to share. I have tolerated the taxol and carboplatin very well through three treatments. Platelet and WBC are in normal range.

sciatic nerve pain
Any hints on relief from taxol/carbo chemo induced sciatic nerve pain anyone can share? I have developed it after three treatments and have trouble walking and getting out of a chair. Pain pills are the only relief I have but have to take them round the clock. Heating pad helps somewhat but does not last long.
