Anything to do about excesive fatigue?
My Mom just had her chemo (gemzar and cisplatin)last Friday and is still feeling so so tired, with some nausea... I think this chemo is harder that gemazar plus carboplat. Any tips to make her feel any better???

ovarian/peritineal cancer
I've posted before but haven't gotten anything. I have peritneal cancer and my CA 125 numbers went from 9 to 25 in three months. Should I be worried? I've been off chemo for 7 months now.

Saundra's surgery
This is Saundra's husband Joe. Her debulking surgery on Friday was a huge success! Surgeons did remove the spleen, but left the colon alone. Three small lesions on liver were removed. She's recovering at Baylor Medical in Dallas. The docs are saying "optimum results obtained."

I just got back from my 1st 3 month checkup after chemo. My CA-125 was 9 and I am VERY happy about that but another problem has comeup I was told I have a cyst on my vigina wall. The dr. does not seem that concerned about it, but I am. Has anyone had this same experience and if so, what was done. Thanks for any info.

gemzar is working
Amazing news from the lab, my ca dropped from 121 to 34 after 3 treatments of gemzar! I had a full tumor load on the last ct scan. The pain went after the first dose and the my blood counts were low so the doc gave me reduced dose for 2nd and 3rd weeks. I knew it was working, but it blew my mind to drop #s that fast.…

CA-125 results
I had good news yesterday on the latest CA-125 results after four chemos. Started at 2988 May 3 and after 4 chemos of taxol and carbo I have a reading of 35. Still waiting on the Thurs. CT scan but it looks like I can have the debulking surgery now. Thank you for the prayers and care you send for me.
