We frequently have to celebrate birthdays early or later in our family due to schedules of some sort. Could you do that? I am sorry that your mother's counts were low and the chemo delayed. That seems to be the pattern for all of us at some time. I will be 69 in October and know that we older gals have less bounce back maybe than the younger. At least I blame it on age rather than the real reason OVCA. Then again, the surgeons attending me three weeks ago called me "a tough old bird". I took that as a complement and we all had a laugh. Tough birds may need a little extra time. God is in contol of my treatment because I turned it over to him. My husband and I can see His blessings every step of the way. Prayers to you Liz and to your Mother, who you care for so well. Saundra0

Hi Liz, Sorry about the delay of chemo for your mother....that seems to be going around lately. Didn't her CA-125 number drop down into the 'normal' range already? By the way, has your family made a decision yet about moving to New York? How is your little baby doing? Hope everything is going great otherwise (than your mother's situation). Lots of hugs, MichaelaMarie0

Hi there...yes actually her CA 125 is 11.7 out of 21 (different lab range)but Dr. hasn¡t said how many more treatments or if there is going to be surgery or not. About New York offer wasn't made so I guess this is what God wan't for now. My baby is wonderful, healthy, beautiful and so big, 4 months already..thanks for asking!!Keelie said:Hi Liz, Sorry about the delay of chemo for your mother....that seems to be going around lately.
