Auto Stem Cell Transplant
I am currently undergoing ICE chemo in prep for my auto stem cell transplant late May early June. I am just terrified and not sure. Is someone able to stay with you during isolation? Do you sleep most of the time? How do you feel when you are released? I am also trying to think positive as many stories about transplant are…

Alveolitis
Has anyone had alveolitis? I'm in the hospital now with pneumonia and alveolitis. The alveolitis may be related to Bleo toxicity. If this is the case they will stop the Bleo for the remainder of my treatments.

To get a Stem Cell Transpalnt or Not??
Has anyone ever been in remission without getting a stem cell transplant. And if so, for how long were you in remission? I am told I am in remission (just for the past 2 months), I feel ok, except for all the bone and muscle pain from all the chemo, yet the doc still wants to give me a stem cell transplant cuz he tells me…

Excision Groin Lymph Node
In one way I feel bad even posting here because I don't know yet if I even have cancer, so I probably shouldn't even be bothering you. But, I am really scared. I went to the Dr. with a swollen groin lymph I had for quite some time. He did my blood work which came back fine - then said he would send me to a surgeon for a…

treatment in Mexico Hyper-CVAD
I have been diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL). It is my understanding the most effective treatment for MCL is Hyper-CVAD. My wife and I have been planning on moving/retiring to mexico for years. We plan to continue with that goal, however this pesky cancer problem presents it's own questions I need help with. Any…

Muscle pain
I seem to have it in my arms and leg muscles and my shoulders. It makes me wonder what that means. I will give it a few more days and go get that checked out. After going through all this stuff since 04, and all the chemicals you get really panicky. Hope you are all doing well. Hilde

I need help, I'm really scared.
Hi everyone, I'm a 17 year old male with some serious problems lately. A few weeks ago I got over a pretty nasty cold. Coughing and stuff. I'm still spitting up phlegm in the mornings (still lingering in my system). Either way, what I'm so concerned about is a small pea like, soft, movable cyst that appeared in the side of…

Blood Counts post Stem Cell
I would love any input from post stem cell transplant patients on how long it took for their counts to stabilize. My sister's Netrophils Absolute is still up and down at almost Day 90. The Doctors don't act overly concerned but it is really stressing her out. Anybody else have this experience?

Lots of symptoms, no answers. What were your symptoms prior to diagnosis?
Hi, I'm new here and I feel sort of shy posting this, as I have not actually been diagnosed with lymphoma, though my oncologist has suspected it because of my various symptoms. I have had severe night drenches, itchy skin, occasional red blotches on my abdomen, severe fatigue and weakness and palpable lymph nodes in my…

Hello to all and hope this finds everyone staying positive, I had my bone marrow biopsy last weds. and that went fairly well.I was glad because the one before was not so good. I got the call yesterday from my MD who told me the bone marrow was completely clear. I was stunned as I had 50% bone marrow involvement when I was…

supplemental vitamins
Has anyone gone to a Naturopathic? My cousin's wife had Leukemia about 15 years ago and she was in a trial treatment. She was given high doses of vitamins before her chemo and radiation and supposedly was in the group with the best remission/survival rates. Has anyone tried vitamin therapy with their cancer treatments and…

Chest pain after radiation
I was diagnosed with aggressive NHL in February, went through 6 cycles of Rituxan and CHOP and 25 days of radiation. I am now about 2 months post-treatment and am having chest pains. Been checked by a cardiologist and CT scans and the dr's think it is just trauma from the radiation. Anyone else have this?

HAs anyone ever??!
So yesterday I went in to do my second treatment with ABVD, they drew my lab work and everything came back great except my white blood count, which came back as 2.0. Clean CT Scan
Hi, I just returned from my Onc's office to get the results of my 4 weeks after completing RCHOP CT scan. Yipee.........! Appears to be all clear, at least for lymphoma. CT Scan or Pet/CT and how often?
Hi everyone, I'm just wondering which scan your oncologist recommends for you. I get CT scans because I've had 5 false positives on prior PET/CTs. Also an early diagnosis of DCIS breast cancer on another PET/CT. However, for staging my NHL recurrance and following progress during treatment I was followed with Pet/CT. Now…
