20 Year Old with Kidney Cancer

Recovery Worries
I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in March of this year. I was in stage T2. On May 7 they removed two thirds of my left kidney. New to Kidney Cancer but Growing Old Fast
I was diagnosed with cancer of my right kidney in March of 2002. I was and was not shocked, believe it or not the Lord told me when the phone call came who it was and want he was going to say. God does prepare you for some things. I have found out the same thing as all of you, this is a very hard cancer to treat. I love a…

IL-2 vs Interferon ?????
Does anyone have experience with IL-2 injections versus Interferon injections? After radiation treatments my RCC lung tumor is dying. My oncologists suggests immunetherapy injections. I have had both IL-2 and Interferon before, and dislike both! Anyone else want to share their thoughts? Thanks

When do we start to be a Survivor
I want to know when do we start to be a survivor. I think it is different for each one of us, for me I didn't feel like a survivor until I had me kidney removed in July. Until then I felt like I had not gone through anything. But that is how I felt, what about the rest of you, when did you start to survive. When you heard…

Renal Cell Cancer
I am a 58 year old Australian male. In November 2001 I had an operation to remove my right kidney and the tumor attached to it. In January 2002 I was given the 'all clear' and in May 2002 I was told that the cancer had returned and was now in the venacava vein, near the heart and it was also in some glands at the back of…

Need for a urologist
I was recently diagnosed with a tumor the size of a grape (small) on the lower part of my left kidney and I am scheduled to have a partial nephrectomy in about 10 days. I was informed by the doctor who found the tumor that it would not be necessary for me to see an oncologist, but I want to leave no stone unturned in the…

I can honestly say I know just how you feel, having had my left kidney removed 9 months ago due to stage 3 cancer. You have probably been to Steve Dunn's website on kidney cancer; it's the best there is, and still it doesn't answer everyone's questions. The worst thing about cancer, even so-called "remission", is the fear…

Kidney - Renal & Transitional Cell
I read your message of June 1st and I am very symphathetic and understanding. Although my cancer is the other hard to treat kidney cancer (transitonal cell), it is difficult accepting that with all the new treatments there really isn't anything very effective against either kinds of kidney cancer. But, for encouragement, I…
