Need for a urologist

I too had a partial in early May this year and was told the same thing. After consulting with my local GP I decided to continue the faith I had in my surgeon and
did not seek input from an oncologist. But that has to be your choice. Whatever makes you most comfortable. I just had my three month CT and everything was clear. Good luck, maintain your positive attitude. You can email me with any questions at gfed@ncn.net if you like.0 -

My husband received this same advice in Aug 99 when he had his kidney emoved - He was told he was cured and to go live his life - He was followed by his urologist (surgeon) for 2 years with cat scans - He was found in 4/02 to have mets to a lynph node(which eas surgically removed) and in 7/02 to the bone - He is now being followed by an oncologist and has had a complete response to Peg-Introl
So do the follow up cat scans religiously0
