Does anyone have experience with IL-2 injections versus Interferon injections? After radiation treatments my RCC lung tumor is dying. My oncologists suggests immunetherapy injections. I have had both IL-2 and Interferon before, and dislike both! Anyone else want to share their thoughts? Thanks

My husband has RCC with mets to the lung and liver. He also had Interlukin 2 and Interferon. They made him very sick. They shrank the mets with the first round, but not with the second. This cancer is a very stubborn one. He is currently taking a combination of Xeloda & Gemzar. He has been through two cycles, will be scanned the 21st of April to see if any progress is being made.
