Hello! My name is Tracy and I just discovered this wonderful group! My son was dx in 3/02 with Wilms 1 fh at 5 1/2 months. He had his right kidney removed and had 18 weeks of chemo (actinomycin & vincristine). Since then, we've had a couple of scares including lesions on his liver (no change, so no treatment) and unidentifiable "growths" on his remaining kidney (turned out to be nothing). He's now almost 2 1/2 with a brother or sister on the way in June!
Just wanted to let anyone know that is looking for encouragement (especially parents of newly diagnosed Wilms) that I am here to talk or answer any questions.
Tracy
p.s. Drew is treated at Kosair Childrens in Louisville, KY by Dr. Sal Bertolone - and I couldn't be more pleased with the ENTIRE staff!
