When you have surgery to get your kidney out, what is the estimated time you are out of work? How many days do you have to wait to go upstairs. I heard you can't go upstairs for three days? What is the difference with recuperation time with laposcopic surgery or regular surgery?

kidney cancer metastasis
I just had surgery, a radiical nephrectomy. It was stage one and I am told the cancer is completely cured. I still worry about mets to the brain and lungs, from all I've been reading. Has anyone who has been through this able to give me some advice on this topic?
