Sir Spheres problems?
Hi everyone, I haven't been here for a while, as I normally visit another board when I have some spare time. I remember really learning a lot here when I first came, so I thought I'd revisit and see if anyone has had any experience with Sir Spheres here. I just searched the boards and saw that some people had actually had…

What is the definition of Introspective? By definition: involving, or frequently undertaking, a deep and candid examination of your own thoughts and feelings. From time to time, I like to discuss the various aspects of the Cancer Wars and how they relate to each one of us – how our lives are affected – and what we feel and…

Hello all. I'm David and I'm 44 years old. I found that I had rectal cancer at the start of 2008. I went through the chemo and radiation. Now I must live with a colostomy. I have insurance and go through Edgepark for my supplies. I'm not sure what my insurance is for because every month I must pay a little over $200.00 for…

So when I got ready for bed that night I noticed the pump…

To PET or Not to PET
I just got a shock. I was setup to get a PET scan in June. I am on Medicare Advantage. My out of pocket cost was $30 for past scans. This year it is 25% of the total cost. As we live in the boondocks, the local hospital gets a larger Medicare reimbursement then the St. Louis hospitals, so my cost would have been around…

Pain or discomfort in the upper right quadrant of abdomen
For the past year, I've been having a vague type of pain or discomfort under the lower rib on the right side. I had a resection one year ago and in the following CT scans, including two last month, everything looks fine, but I have to wonder if the cancer has gone to the liver. I’ve mentioned this to my oncologist, and he…
