Anyone been told their stage has changed due to preop TX plus surgery? That after surgery a "YP" staging is done?.......steve

Steve, I've seen it on some
Steve, I've seen it on some profiles but it really doesn't matter. Since all my cancer was removed during surgery, that didn't make me a Stage 0. Tx depends on original dx or highest dx. I think an restaging could mislead someone and have them not accept treatment!! IMHO0 -
I've seen the term
I've seen the term down-staging of tumors in a few studies in context to neoadjuctive chemo/rad. Also used by a couple surgeons I spoke too. You still have the same stage of cancer, but the restaging of the tumor affect options for surgery.0
