to rizzo
rizzo, the first visit to the radiologist is the time they mark your breast or chest to guide the radiation and at that time you must hold your arm up by your head for what seems like forever, but is about 15 minutes. It was a little hard to keep the arm there but not impossible. I did most of the exercises from the very…

Men are different from women.....just the facts...
I've seen a few posts lately from some of you in regards to lack of support from husband/boyfriends. This is disheartening to say the least, but here is something that helped me. Scientifically men are different from women. During pregnancy in the 6th or 7th week, if the fetus is male, there is a tremendous spike in…

Arm Flexibility before Radiation
For anybody who did radiation after a mastectomy, could you tell me how flexible your arm needs to be before getting radiation? I was warned that I need to be able to lay down and hold my arm straight up, the upper arm almost touching my ear for about a half hour. I've been practicing all the stretching exercises my…

Stress & Breast Cancer
As we all know, research has many reasons for breast cancer, but to pinpoint the cause is yet to be known. Emotions&arimidex&tamoxofin
I have been a breast cancer survivor for 1-1/2 years now. I had a lumpectomy, radiation, and was placed on tamoxofin.
