After surgery
It's not been a full month since my diagnosis. I had a lumpectomy on my left breast 10 days ago. Fortunately, the cancer has not spread to the lymph nodes so I know that I have been blessed in this regard. However, I am still swollen and the area around the incisions is warm. Being new to all this, I don't know if this is…

1 year down and having fun
I try not to talk about cancer anymore. I joined a fun club (Red Hat Society) where we just act as kids and don't talk about aches and pains. I know it's an escape from reality, but participating in the group's activities makes me forget I had cancer. I try not to live in fear any more. However, if someone needs to talk,…

Breast Reduction Surgery
After seven years I have decided that I would like to pursue a breast reduction in my "good" breast. Will I be up against an insurance battle? Have folks had good luck with coverage for such surgery? I'm tired of poor fitting bras and slipping straps and feeling lop-sided. Thanks.

My mom just had a modified radical mastectomy after getting A/C and taxotere. It seems that her cancer was very resistant to the chemo. LCIS plus
Well, my cousin didn't have to wait 10 days for the results of her stereotactic biopsy, she got them today. The main thing was the lobular carcinoma in situ. She also had some bonuses such as interductal hyperplasia and sclerosing adenosis among others. Has anybody dealt with any of this and how? Thanks. Susan
