Congratulations! I'm so happy for you!
The Finacial Specialist at our bank is truly a godsend. She's a caring person that makes a positive financial and liberating impact on every customer she comes in contact with. I think you will be great in this position!

ps - how did you handle your BC and time away from work during the interview? Nosy parkers need to know! -
hahaha...nothing nosey about that. Well, I had 6 interviews with Wachovia, so I have been doing this with them for a while and told them from the very first. Actually, I spoke with them the first time in May, maybe. They called me when they saw my resume on Monster.com. I answered some questions and then never heard back until a month or so ago. I thought that I just was not considered for the job, either because of BC or because I said that I would never cold call again. But, as it turned out, the recruiter for my town, was out on maternity leave and that person was just getting some ppl together for her to review for the opening in my town. She came back a month ago and we started up again. I guess with the May calls, I had 8 interviews with them, five by phone and three in person. And, I told everyone at every interview why I had closed my business. The last person, the one who offered me the job on the spot, said that her mother in law had been through it and she understood totally and that as far as she was concerned, no one was guaranteed good health. Just because I had been sick did not make me anymore of a risk to be sick again that herself. I was lucky too that she had a really bad pregnacy that took her out of work for 6 mos. Ppl tend to understand more when they have walked the walk.jdubious said:Congratulations! I'm so happy for you!

So, it did not matter to Wachovia. It is probably a blessing because now I can start the fight against US Airways insuring policies (they self insure) again and it won't hurt my job. I hate US Air anyway. -
Hey Sue...Yes, I am in NC. Wachovia's home office is here and it was started here. Wachovia is a Moravian name and our town was settle by a Moravian colony from Germany. I cannot wait.mssue said:WOW!!! THAT'S GREAT NEWS!! I DEAL WITH WACHOVIA ON MY JOB-I'M SURE IT'S A DIFFERENT STATE(NC)??
CONGRATULATIONS--HOPE YOUR DOING WELL ON ALL FRONTS.TAKE CARE & MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
