I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. I also have a nerve disease called scarcot marie tooth. Several of my chemos were listed as toxic to me, but tried anyway. Had allergic reactions especially to taxol. Has anyone else had same problem.

Fluid retention after chemo?
Does it ever go away? My feet and ankles are still retaining fluid and it's been 8 weeks since I finished chemo. Oncologist gave me a diuretic to help, but it doesn't do a lot. Anyone else have this issue? How long did it last? thanks, jill

zoladex question
I was briefly put on the zoladex (sp?) shot to supress my period. 2 months after I stopped taking it I got my period back - HORRIBLE cramps!!!! This month the same thing happened. Does anyone know if this is common after being on this shot? Thanks!

After Chemo Side-Effects
I've been off chemo for a month now. I've been in pain this past week and am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. My joints and muscles are so stiff & sore ... especially my shoulders & blades ... to the point of pain that requires either chiro/massage or medicine. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks.

ER/PR no response
I was dx 08/04 with stage 3 er pr + 15 nodes. Had A/C x 4 33 rads. R mod mast. Ovaries removed 3/03. Mets diagnosed 05/04 liver and bone. Put on Arimidex and Zometa. 08/04 scans show increase in tumors. Does anyone know why no response from hormone therapy and chemo if I am er/pr +. Thanks. Suzy

I've read several of the old messages re: some of the side effects of Taxol. I've completed 4 cycles of AC & am scheduled to begin 4 cycles of Taxol.
